Indigo Cotton Blockprinted Bandana
Naturally dyed bandana in 100% organic cotton is a useful and beautiful piece of cloth with many different adaptations. Wear it as a small scarf around your neck or to tie up your hair. It can also be used to wrap a gift or as a table cover. This design features a large petal design with a contrasting border.
Dabu is a traditional artisan process of Rajasthan, India, that uses a thick, sticky mud to print a resist design before dyeing the fabric. Much of the beauty and depth of hand block printed cloth lies in fact that each block is placed by the artisan’s hand - what is left behind is an imprint of the personality and character of the block printer. Slight variations are to be celebrated.
Size: approx. 58cm x 58cm (23” x 23”) Note: Colours may appear differently depending on monitors and lighting.
Care Instructions: Your cloth can be hand washed with cool water. To protect the natural dye you must use a pH neutral liquid detergent (as for washing wool). Note that Indigo sometimes likes to share its blue. You can expect some colour rub off with your new textiles. Wash with similar colours and immediately hang to dry or tumble dry on medium heat.

How do I clean my fabrics?
Some color transfer is normal for hand dyed and indigo fabrics for the first few washes, so fabrics should be washed separately, without soaking. Hand washing in cold water with a gentle soap and line drying is recommended . It is advisable not to tumble dry or to use bleach. This will help preserve the softness and long life of your new fabrics.

What if I need to return something?
Handmade fabrics, especially vintage items, by their nature will have some variations in color, texture and design throughout the piece. I have endeavored to make this clear in our descriptions and photographs. Note that many items have been made in small villages and that these variations should be expected. These are the special qualities that make each handmade piece truly unique.
Many fabrics are one-off pieces and you will never find another one like it!! I wish you to be happy with your order, so please contact me within 10 days of receiving it if you have any problems. Note that I don't accept exchanges or cancellations, or returns for changing your mind!
I will accept returns if I deem goods to be damaged or defective but cannot accept returns for personalized orders. Items approved for return must be shipped back to me within 14 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
